Bellwether Wines – Glamping and Camping

14183 Riddoch Hwy
Coonawarra, South Australia, 5263

About

Bellwether Wines is not like other campsites, a boutique campground, low density well-spaced sites, little details here will keep you coming back. Just seven kilometres north of the Coonawarra township in Buandig country, camping at a Winery – does it get any better.

Bellwether Wines have six permanent Bell tents built on decks, and six campsites for people travelling with their own gear.

Extensive herb and produce gardens that their chefs use to make food for guests – you must pre-order. Guests are able to forage themselves too. Bellwether Wines grow a lot of their own food and source from local suppliers. Prepared camp ovens mean you can arrive and enjoy a wine while it heats over the fire.

The winery and cellar door is based in an 1868 Shearing Shed, a beautiful space combining history, humour and creativity. A true sense of nostalgia in a natural setting, with wines made in a sustainable way. A boutique winery with the cellar door and community kitchen in the heart of the winery, a uniquely immersive experience. (book into our ‘Guest only’ tasting – ‘Drinks after work’, add a platter to your tasting or start the day with breakfast delivered to your campsite or come into the winery for Brunch).
