The Old Mount Gambier Gaol is a unique accommodation transformed from a 160-year-old English prison.

They host large music festivals and can cater to any group, whether large or small. This historic building allows guests to stay in the original cells and experience a night in gaol. It also features historical signs throughout, enabling visitors to walk around and immerse themselves in the history.

The Old Mount Gambier Gaol is an ideal venue for school camps, bus groups, and large gatherings. Half of the gaol offers dormitory-style accommodations, with up to 18-20 bunks, including rooms with 4-bed, 6-bed, and 8-bed dorms. Private twin and double cells are available, some with ensuite toilets and some without. There is also a 2-bedroom self-contained unit suitable for a family of four. The facility can host up to 55 guests.

Located in the center of town, it is within walking distance of all the cafes, sights, and restaurants that Mount Gambier offers.
