Naracoorte Swimming Lake is a free, family-friendly summer destination set within spacious, beautifully- kept grounds. The lake is surrounded by expansive green lawns, shady picnic areas, and a sandy beach, creating the perfect setting to relax, swim, or enjoy a full day outdoors. With a playground, barbecue facilities, kiosk, toilets, showers, and change rooms all nearby, everything you need for a fun day out is within easy reach.

The large, man-made swimming lake features crystal-clear chlorinated water with depths ranging from 1 to 2 metres, catering to swimmers of all ages and abilities. There are shallow areas for young children, an enclosed children’s swimming area, a shaded ankle-deep splash zone for toddlers, and deeper sections for lane swimming.

Fully fenced and designed with families in mind, Naracoorte Swimming Lake is open seasonally from late November until 31 March, making it one of the Limestone Coast’s best places to cool off and enjoy the warmer months.
