Bellwether Wines will feed and inspire your soul. Seven kilometres north of the Coonawarra township, in Buandig country.

Situated at the ‘top of the strip’ Bellwether is a Coonawarra favourite – a winery in a renovated 1868 stone shearing shed, full of whimsical charm and character, with thoughtful, sustainable wines made by Sue Bell.

Sample thoughtful wines made by a creative, environmentally conscious winemaker and well-respected wine show judge. Prepare to be surprised, classics from Coonawarra and Wrattonbully with an array of climate-appropriate alternatives too. If you come in vintage (late Feb- mid April) you can see and smell the ferments!
Wander through their produce garden or come and stay for a few nights, yes, sleep at a winery.
